Microsoft Outlook: Remove the primary account
- Close Outlook.
- Click the Windows icon and then Run menu. Run command: control mlcfg32.cpl.
- Click on Show Profiles.
- Click the Add button to create a new profile.
- Use Auto Account Setup to set up the new account.
- In the Mail window, make the new profile default by clicking on Always use this profile.
- Click Apply to save.
- Finally, just select your old profile and click Remove.
